Lolita

The story’s context is very disturbing for multiple reasons. Probably, the worst is this man was convinced that he loved this girl so much (his Lolita) when in reality she was there at the right time to fill the void that he felt. He did not love her; he loved what she was. Thus, it is not a love story as we are used to but instead it is a story of a man’s love for the concept of a nymphet. The author deserves to receive many awards for this story because that is what it is a story. The man created all the emotions the narrator felt etc. He captured and expressed the true mind of a pedophile in a fiction account. Very eye opening.
