A truly interesting novel that follows the new genre of historians etc. solving historical conspiracies or mysteries. This story is full of mysteries that keep the reader involved to the very end. It is full of flashbacks! The premise of the story is a young girl finding some information in her father’s library on Vlad the Impaler or Dracula. She begins to question her father on the information and he explains his very complex past and his connection with this historical figure. The characters are very well developed, three dimensional and unique. My only negative comment was the ending. I felt it was very anti-climatic. Reading the story is close to an epic adventure but the end doesn’t meet these standards.
