Hailed as a national bestseller that covers many themes from divorce to adultery, being a mistress to finding oneself, family relations to discovering a treasure, etc. The story is set in Paris and centers on two sisters Roxy and Isabel. Roxy has succeeded at life and knows exactly what she wants to do and has been successfully living her life for many years. Isabel has dropped out of school and has flitted from one thing to another. You can understand the contrast. I, however, did not like the book and found it to be a hard read that did not flow well and that was slightly sensational. I felt the author put everything into this story so it would appeal to all and grab people’s attention so she can make money.
