A very good mystery novel centered around one family and their celebrations of Christmas. The head of the family and the rich relative is believed to have died peacefully in her sleep. However, it comes to the attention of the inspector who shows up for the rejoicing to look over what is going on. He discovers that she was murdered and now he has to use his power of deduction to solve the case. Done in the air of Agatha Christie with a memorable inspector and interesting plot line.
