A story of courage, friendship and perseverance. It is wonderful to come across such a poignantly written story that extols such virtues and morals. It would be a great reading tool for students in middle school not just for these reasons but because these two gentlemen actually existed. They lived life and experience many ups as well as serious downs. In addition, this screen play is well written and extremely engaging. No wonder this won five Emmys. Last, this story teaches its readers about life and about losing someone who is close to you. Something that all people will eventually experience. For these reasons, this story is an excellent example of good literature.
